The East Africa Consortium for Clinical Research (EACCR) invites applications from those who wish to attend a 3-day hybrid training workshop in research management. The workshop will cover practical skills in grant negotiation, stakeholder analysis and identification, uptake and dissemination of research findings, and monitoring and evaluation at both the proposal development and post-proposal stages. The training will take place on a hybrid basis from the 27th to the 29th of June 2023, online and in-person at the Uganda Virus Research Institute (UVRI) training room.
This regional training was organized by the EACCR3 project and funded by the European Union’s EDCTP2 Programme. The objective is to deliver hands-on practical training in the management of research projects with the aim of exposing participants to grant writing, monitoring and evaluation, and publication.
Eligibility:
Priority will be given to applicants from institutions that have not participated in similar training before and should be staff from institutions that make up the EACCR3 consortium. Applicants should be Study Coordinators, Trials & Study Managers, Investigators, Accounts staff, and Administrators.
