About: Akihiro Koech is a Antimicrobial resistance(AMR) ambassador at AMR insights network and a Biochemistry graduate from Masinde Muliro University of science and Technology, with a strong foundation in molecular biology, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), and global health. I am actively involved in the WHO AMR Community Exchange, Global Health Network, and Phages Kenya, contributing to research, awareness, and collaborative solutions to public health challenges. As a Production Manager at KAMA Dairy Limited, I also champion food safety and probiotic innovation.
